Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026
Kijitra, Inc. (the “Operator”) establishes these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) for use of the voice chat app Pikon (the “App”).
Article 1. Scope and Age Restriction
These Terms apply to all matters relating to use of the App. By using the App, users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Only people aged 18 or older may use the App. Anyone under 18 may not use the App.
Article 2. Service Features
The App provides the following features.
- Joining rooms listed on the timeline and creating new rooms
- Voice calls with up to four people, including the host
- Muting and switching audio output devices
- Blocking other users and submitting reports to the Operator
A room ends when 30 minutes have passed since its creation, when no one has been connected for 60 consecutive seconds, when the host explicitly ends it, or when the host does not return within 30 seconds after disconnecting.
All features of the App are available free of charge. The Operator may add, change, or remove features of the App without notice.
Article 3. Fees
At the App’s initial launch, there are no ads, paid plans, or in-app purchases. Users are responsible for costs associated with using the App, such as communication charges and device costs.
In the future, the Operator may display ads for free accounts or offer paid plans with ad removal and additional features. In that case, the Operator will follow these Terms or prior notifications within the App.
Article 4. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not engage in the following conduct when using the App.
- Defamation, harassment, or nuisance behavior toward other users
- Impersonating other users or third parties
- Unauthorized access to the App or conduct that may lead to such access
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the App
- Misrepresenting eligibility under these Terms, such as falsely reporting one’s age
- Conduct that violates laws and regulations or public order and morals
- Other conduct the Operator considers inappropriate
Article 5. Reporting, Blocking, and Usage Restrictions
Users can block other users to avoid sharing a room with them in the future. If users discover prohibited conduct, they can compose and send an email from “Settings” → “Contact us” in the App, or report it to the contact listed on the Support page.
If the Operator determines that the content of a report or a user’s conduct violates these Terms, the Operator may restrict or suspend that user’s use of the App without prior notice.
Article 5-2. Child Safety Standards
Kijitra, Inc. prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) involving children under 18 on Pikon. Conduct such as soliciting children for sexual purposes, requesting sexual images or similar material, sexual extortion, and human trafficking for sexual exploitation is not permitted. Creating, posting, sharing, or soliciting child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and facilitating its acquisition or distribution, is also prohibited. These standards do not change the eligibility requirement in Article 1 that users must be aged 18 or older.
Concerns about child safety or suspected violations can be reported to [email protected] by opening your email app from “Settings” → “Contact us” in the App. You can also email the same address directly. To help the Operator review the matter, please provide any information you know, such as when it happened, the room name, and the relevant user. Do not attach or forward child sexual abuse material itself.
The Operator reviews reports and, if a violation is confirmed, takes necessary measures, such as removing the relevant content and restricting or suspending the user’s access. If child sexual abuse material is confirmed, the Operator reports it to the competent authorities or specialist organizations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
The contact for child safety inquiries is [email protected]. The Operator receives reports through this contact and also responds to child safety inquiries from Google Play.
Article 6. Intellectual Property Rights
Copyright and other intellectual property rights relating to the App belong to the Operator or third parties that lawfully hold those rights. These Terms do not transfer any rights to users other than permission to use the App.
Article 7. Service Suspension and Interruption
The Operator may temporarily suspend or interrupt all or part of the App for system maintenance, communication failures, external service outages, disasters, or other unavoidable circumstances. The Operator will provide notice in advance where possible, or afterward in an emergency.
Article 8. Disclaimers
- The Operator endeavors to give advance notice of interruptions, suspensions, termination, or unavailability of the App, but is not liable for resulting losses suffered by users unless caused by the Operator’s willful misconduct or gross negligence
- The Operator is not liable for reduced audio quality or disconnections caused by the communication environment or device conditions, except in cases of the Operator’s willful misconduct or gross negligence
- The App provides a place for voice communication between users, and the Operator is not responsible for statements made by other users
- An internet connection is required to use the App. Users are responsible for arranging their usage environment
Article 9. Service Termination
If the Operator terminates the App, it will generally notify users within the App at least one month before the termination date. This does not apply where unavoidable circumstances exist.
Article 10. Handling of Data
Users’ personal information and data are handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy separately established by the Operator.
Article 11. Changes to the Terms
The Operator may change these Terms as necessary. The revised Terms take effect upon notification within the App. If there are significant changes, the Operator will notify users within the App a reasonable period before the changes take effect.
Article 12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The interpretation and application of these Terms are governed by Japanese law. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction as the court of first instance over disputes relating to these Terms.
Article 13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid under laws or regulations, the other provisions remain in effect.
